Notes

The Walled Garden appears to have hosted an exhibition of celebrity depictions of 'secret gardens', to be auctioned at the conclusion of the Garden Festival for the benefit of Help the Aged. These were presumably exhibited within the Walled Garden pavilion.

  1. Maurice Wilkins says:

I was involved with the Professional Gardeners’ Guild/Christie & Co Walled Garden at the 1988 Glasgow Garden Festival and can give you a full history, given time to record it all and seek out the images. I’ll be in touch in due course.

    1. That would be very helpful, thank you!
