For a long time these birds were on the roof of the Makro cash and carry in Hillington where they were entitled the ‘Ma-Crows’. They disappeared from the store long before it closed down. It’s now a branch of Arnold Clark. Makro was taken over by Booker Cash and Carry. If there’s a branch in Glasgow, somebody there might have worked in Hillington and might know where they went.
Interesting! Can anyone confirm or deny this?
Makro actually have a store in Rutherglen Road, Glasgow, G5. Maybe some of the staff moved from Hillington to Shawfield and remember the birds?
