Notes | Fabricated by John Young & Co (Kelvinhaugh) Ltd in their Scotstoun yard (South Street, Glasgow - now the First Bus Scotstoun depot). The bridge was lifted onto pontoons in the Clyde and pulled to its destination by tugs. It was then placed in position at high tide - as the tide lowered it dropped into securing devices.
